HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL OF YOU

Happy holiday to each and everyone of you. I am truly blessed as God has let me see a new day, and I am gainfully employed. I am working right now and when i get out of here, i will be getting it together to go to Langston's tonight. They are starting that striper mud wrestling tonight Should be interesting, to say the least. The club should have a nice crowd tonight as it is a holiday. I will go and give them a good part of my soul tonight on the wheels of steel. I look forward to the Thursday night parties at Langston's as it is local(bklyn) and the clientele, for the most part have a very good time, usually staying til closing at 4 a.m. I like that. We all go to work tired on Friday. I see new cuties there every week. Calvin, the owner(same name as mine!) is pretty cool to work with. The rest of his staff is cool, too. Oh well. I won't get any turkey today, but maybe I will end up with a nice meat dish tonight(lol). Dj Unknown is my partner at Langston's and one of my best friends. He is working another venue tonight, so I am filling in for him, as we rotate. Not a problem! He's good people: a little ghetto but hey. Brother expects me to make a lasagna and cheesecake for him this weekend. I guess if I have the time, I will. I am going away next week, so I have been busy preparing for that trip, too. Dominican Republic for 8 days , to celebrate a friends birthday. He made me swear that i would come, so I can't dissappoint him. That is a story for another day.Right now, I am at work and trying to procure equipment for a major postal facility in bklyn as we have run short on some stuff and I don't need any managers calling my boss at home on a holiday when he is there stuffing a turkey or whatever. I don't want to hearit in the morning, so I am scrambling now to cover my ass, and his, and keep the mail flowing in Bklyn. In the meantime, I will get back to work, and let you get back to whatever you may have been doing.....One.

SITTING HERE AT MY DESK

I believe in deja vu and the fact that i have been here before, doing this same thing in another time. Actually it was Saturday past, when a friend of mine, asked me, or should I say, insist that I look at his blog. He was so excited, that i had to have a look. I liked what i saw and decided to start a blog, too. All was going smoothly, until I closed my browser and reopened it later. I could not access my blog! i tried to re-register so I could use the name that I had decided on"put the needle on the record", but to no avail, i could not use it as it was already taken! I know it is because I have it. I knew things were going too smoothly in my life up to that point.... damn... have to go back to work right now I will finish this thought in a bit.

SAME STUFF DIFFERENT DAY

I got here at 7a.m., this morning. i feel like i never left this job, but hey, it keeps me going. I forgot to return Lawrence's call, last night. I will catch up with him this morning. I have been working dilligently, as I am leaving town for a few days next week. I look forward to it, too! Seeing an old friend. I dj also, or should I have said that before. I am also involved in a lot of club activities, so I really stay busy. I have a lot to talk about, and ot enough time, but I will make an effort to get started as i had wanted this blog to be a sounding board for many, many issues that affect me and a lot of you out there. I live in New York City, with it's high rents which are rediculously , artificially, greedily, above what any middle class family can afford without killing themselves. The government likes it, because if we are busy busting our asses to keep a roof over our heads, then we don't have the time to complain aout the injustices that are served upon us everday from city hall. It also scares me, that there is a sense of complacency in NEW york now whereas peoplepare just accepting what happens to them instead of fighting back . That was how NY used to be......
